You may have noticed boxes full of speakers and instruments all around the island, which can only mean one thing… Music Jam is about to kick off!
The party’s going to start at the end of this week and tons of you are getting things ready. The team’s seen painters, builders, and lots of penguins putting bands together. Thanks for helping out!
How are you and your friends getting ready? Let us know your tips in the comments.
We’ve been seeing LOTS of World Cup games on the island at the Stadium… Speaking of the Stadium, since some of you have been asking about new toys, we’re excited to show you some stuff that the team’s been working on – An Air Hockey Playset and collectable Urban Vinyl penguins:
The Air Hockey Playset doesn’t come with the Ref and batteries but you’ll be able to use OTHER 2″ Mix and Match Figures if you want to customize your game!
They’ll be available in the UK and North America really soon. Let us know what you think!
The Fourth of July is here in two days, and as we wrote the other day, Club Penguin is getting the island all prepared! In our previous Club Penguin Music Jam article, we showed you a picture of some fireworks, most likely in preparation for July 4th, but we missed something — the Puffle-Shaped Firework!
Thanks to Eli2tyree from our Club Penguin forum for taking the following video at the Iceberg showing us the Puffle Fireworks that appear in the finale of the fireworks show! (Watch the video all the way to the end, you’ll recognize the puffle, trust me!)
Club Penguin released a couple of really awesome tools for all of us to use on our own websites. They’ve had various banners for us to put on our sites in the past, but they’ve just published a flash-based widget and image-based banner that both auto-update with the newest Club Penguin event information!
As you can see below, both are currently talking about the upcoming Club Penguin Music Jam 2010. If you’re reading this after July 18th, the widget and banner will be showing you something else!
Club Penguin has made it very easy to put both of these on your site, just copy the following code into your site and you can be up-to-date on all the upcoming events on Club Penguin Island!
Club Penguin has released the July 2010 Penguin Style Catalog a day early, as well, so everyone waddle in to Town, go into the Gift Shop and click the Penguin Style catalog on the bottom right to get started! Instead of an article with a slew of pictures of each place you click for the Penguin Style Cheats, we have a video of all of the cheats provided to us by our very own Johnsteriv from our Club Penguin Forum! His blog is becoming one of the most popular here on Club Penguin Insider so make sure to check it out – Johnsteriv’s Blog. In this great video cheat guide to the July Penguin Style Catalog, you can see where he clicks (and how many times) based on the red dot that shows up. You can pause the video and rewind if you miss something!
The new Club Penguin pin was released today, a day earlier than the Club Penguin Times told us! It will be available until July 14th, so make sure you grab it as quickly as you can. If you want to know how to find the Candy Apple Pin, just follow the Club Penguin Cheats below!
Start by clicking on the Map icon in the lower left.
Choose Forest from the Map.
Click the boulder on your left hand side - it will roll out of the way revealing a new ladder entrance to the hidden lake!
Click on the Candy Apple Pin!
Here are some images of the rolling boulder and what the latest Club Penguin Pin — the Candy Apple Pin — looks like. Tasty!!
It looks like Disney is getting a head start in decorating Club Penguin for the upcoming Music Jam 2010 on July 9th! All over the Island, you can see construction, music equipment and even fireworks at Ski Hill and Iceberg in preparation for the event. If you reload the login screen a few times, you’ll end up seeing this advertisement for the Music Jam from July 9th – July 18th.
