Hey everyone!! ^_^
So, you know how when people think of Bible verses about pride, they think of the one that goes "pride goeth before a fall"? Well that is definitely not the ONLY one. God really does not like pride, or arrogance at all. In His eyes it is a very bad thing. Except in this day an age people typically overlook pride.. And we forget that humbleness is an amazing gift! Here are just a few of the multiple verses God gives us about humility.

In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. Psalm 10:4

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2

The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. Isaiah 2:11

Mark 4:26-29
26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by ***ht and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

In other words, we can "scatter seeds" or share the love of God with people, and we may not even realize that it helps. The holy spirit works things out so that even the little seeds we plant make a huge difference. =)

Hello everyone!!! I am ever so sorry that I have not posted in the longest time. My summer break starts next week, so I should have oodles and oodles of time! ^_^
Todays VAD, actually does not have a verse in it, but it answers a question that I feel loads and loads of people ask. In fact I asked my mom about it and here is what she told me!

You know, so many people say if God is so powerful, why does He not fix all the evil in the world, and I think I figured it out. If God made everyone perfect with no sin, then we would be exactly like robots, and our love for Him would be forced. If we were created perfect, then we would be like a robot progamed to love God.. We would be like robots, and so have fake love.

God gave us a free will, so we have to choose. If we choose to love Him, well, that's real love right there!

Sorta like if you had a crush on someone, and gave them a love potion, then their love for you would not be real, it would be forced. And nobody wants fake love. So if God made it any easier for us to believe in Him, then it would be forced love.

Like if God just made us, already KNOWING He was real, then we would not have gone through the test of loyalty to God. But the best part is that all the people who have passed the test of this world, and have chosen to love Him, can someday go to an amazing place filled with loving people. :)
