Since blogs were deleted, Frogsambob came up with a great idea! We are going to just have 1 topic for all of our Verse-A-Day posts!
Feel free to comment, like, and follow!
Verse-A-Day is written based on the Bible, and we honestly try to interpret it correctly, sometimes we might be wrong, but please keep in mind this is just OUR opinions, if you want to get it straight-from-the-Book, I strongly encourage you to do so!!!! Now, this is not always a 'daily' thing, because we are busy, and we do have lives to live, (one of us even has a job...) but when we can we will post stuff like verses, Christian songs, and just our faith! If you have any prayer requests, you can leave a comment on this thread...
If you want to know more about our faith you can PM us, and we will do our best, but if you wish to get baptized we highly reccomend you go to a local church and talk to their pastor : )
Have a great day!!

My Faith/denomination is non-denominational. All of the denominations you put up there have slight things I do not think are fully Biblical.(Although I don't have a problem with people who go to those churches, as the churches may not necessarily teach those things as strongly) I believe in the Bible, and everything that it says. I know most of you won't understand what this means exactly, but I'll explain it a little bit: I'm a Dispensationalist(Opposite, Covenant theologian), which basically means I believe the Bible means what it literally says, so we should follow the instructions that it gives us, and live it out. But, that does not mean that in prophecy there is not figurative language, cause I do, of course think that there is.
I don't want to step on anyone's beliefs, and I respect what you believe, I was just stating what I believe myself.

Choose you this day whom ye will serve, Wither it be the gods of which thy fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the ammorites in whom land ye dwell, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Hello everyone! As you may have noticed, I labeled this a Verse-a-Day Special(Extended Edition). To be honest, I did that mainly because this is a huge passage that I'm covering, and it would be way too long to try and stuff all the truth in just one Verse-a-Day! I doubt I would have many readers, cause it would be so long.
Today I'd like to cover a very strong passage that I think the Lord lead me to post, it covers a lot of very important truths, that everyone can apply to their lives. I hope you all really benefit as much from these passages as much as I have/am.
1 John 2:3-6
3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “ I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.
15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
1 John 1:9-10
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.
So, basically the beginning of this verse is saying that we can have assurance that we are truly a Christian if we follow God's commandments. I don't believe this means just the ten commandments, although they still should be followed, I think he is speaking of all commands in the Bible.(There are a whole lot!) It's pretty strong, it says that if someone says that he has come to know Him, and does not keep the commandments is a liar. That is a very strong verse! That should be a very good strong challenge for us to examine our lives to see that we are not doing that same thing. I think it's a good reminder for us to constantly be examining our lives to make sure that we are living in a holy way, and a manner that would be pleasing to God. So, does that mean that we are not a Christian at all if we sin? Or that we can lose our salvation? Of course not! For the first question, I made sure to post another section in John(1 John 1:9-10) that shows that we are not immediately to say that we are not a Christian if we sin at all. There's really a fine balance there. Take a look at that verse now if you haven't already.
That is a huge challenge to live in a Holy way, that is pleasing to God! And, also a great thing for us to focus on, as it is often disregarded in the world today. God really requires a lot from us, doesn't He? One of the reasons for this is that if we live in a majorly different way than un-believers, that will show that we are changed by God's grace, and Lord willing that will lead them to salvation.
I am really getting excited about posting a bunch of Verse-a-Day's this week to complete this edition, and I hope you all benefit from them a lot, as I will be posting a lot!

I find this really cool, but if you look into the eyes of someone who really loves God and is following Him, you can see sparkles in their eyes
