Basic Features on CP!
Penguin Standard Time:
So, you met somebody that you really want to hang out with on CP, but you don't know if they live in the same time zone as you, and you absolutely never want to give out your city or state to the whole CP world! So your wondering, how can I let this person know what time I wanna meet up with them? Well on CP, there is something called Penguin Standard Time (PST) and is the same for all over the world for people who play on CP! The clock is located at the Snow Forts and is on the right where the little red & white bullseye is! You can let your Penguin Friends know when to meet up! Also, there is a place where you can see the PST without even logging on! Go on the Club Penguin website, but don't click play. Instead, your going to look at the top where there is a bar of stuff you can click on [Membership, Community, Parents, Toys & Mobile] your going to want to click on "Community" and then once that page is loaded, look to the right in the yellow part of the page, and you'll see the little "Club Penguin Time Zone" widget thing with the time and the day on it!
Chat Messages:
Whether your in Ultimate Safe Chat, or whatever chat you have, there are pre-typed chat messages that tell your friends about activites and other things. There are also Joke messages in there to so you can make your friends laugh with jokes! They also make things a little easier to! Just simply click the little "speech bubble" icon down at the bottom where your blue chat box is, and then the messages will pop up, just click on whichever one you would like to be chatted to your friend!
Postcards:
Postcards are very handy and helpful for when you want to tell your friends about something quickly without joining them in their room! Postcards can also be sent to people who aren't your friends telling them to become your friend on CP! There are all sorts of different ones for special events and ones to tell a friend to meet you somewhere! All you have to do to send one is simply open your inbox and view and buy your postcard and then send it!
Places To Go, People To See, Things To Do!
The Pizza Parlor:
The Pizza Parlor on CP is one of the most exciting and yummy places to get food on the island! You can do so many things there! You can dress up as a waiter, and wait tables for other people and place their orders, be a pizza tosser (you have to buy a Chef's Hat & Apron in the Penguin Style Catalog when it's available.) and make the pizza for your customers and most fun be a customer and wait for your food to be served! The music also in the Pizza Parlor is also very uplifting and fun and perfect for a Italian style Pizza Parlor! There also other jobs that you can do at the Parlor like being a manager, an owner, a cashier, pizza delivery man or woman and deliver pizzas to those not able to come in, or be a musician on the Pizza Parlor stage! You can also play the thrilling Pizzatron 300 game! Whatever it is you'd like to do, the Pizza Parlor is a fun place to chill with friends!
The Coffee Shop:
The Coffee Shop is another place that is like the Pizza Parlor, but is more relaxed and is made for those who just want to be quiet, read or just relax after a long day. There are also many things to do at the Coffee Shop. You can be a server (If you have the green coffee apron which is available in the Penguin Style) and pour coffee to the customers. You can also be an owner or manager, you can bake the pastries, be a janitor and help clean up when people are done with their meals, or be a comedian or poetry reader and say poetry in front of your audience! You can also play the famous Bean Counters game! The coffee shop is one of the best places to unwind and relax on CP!
The Night Club:
The Night Club is one of the best places for you and your friends to "Dance the night away!" you can dance, play their awesome two games DJ3K and Dance Contest! This is also the place where Cadence the famous DJ penguin has danced! There is also a place to buy special CD's that if you carry on your penguin, you can play special tracks in DJ3K! You can also do some jobs. You can be a doorman and stand in front of the Nightclub welcoming penguins inside. For a more serious look, you can put on some black shades, and black clothing! You and your friends can also do synchronized dancing where you all click on the "Dance" icon at the same time! You can do it anywhere, but the Nightclub is a popular place to show off your moves! The Night Club is one of the best places on CP to show off you dancing skills!
The Skating Rink/Stadium:
The Skating Rink which changes from the Stadium in the winter are both awesome places to show support for your favorite team! Whether it's blue,green,yellow or red everyone at the Stadium/Rink has a fun time! Ice Hockey and Soccer are the most popular sports over here, and you can buy stuff from the Sports Catalog to show your support for your team! Need some support? Make friends with the cheerleaders, sometimes they can be a bit preppy, they're really nice and fun to be around! You can also be a referee and monitor the sports game! Ice Hockey isn't the only sport to play on CP, there is dodgeball and baseball equipment that can be found in the Sports catalog from time to time!
