Hey everybody! Good Morning
I wanna know.. what are some of your questions? What are your favorite verses? Do you have an Idea of what we could do a verse-a-day on? If you do, just PM whoever you want to write it! (Me, Tiger, or Nail)
Ok, so on my phone, I have this Bible app. It has reading plans that you can read everyday, and it even reminds you to read them! (Just wanted to throw that out there!) So, anyone who has an Iphone, or Ipod touch, check this out! It's called the Bible App, its free, and while you do have to sign up (free too) to be able to do the plans, I think it's worth it!
Ok, lets get on to the verse. I see many of you saying things like 'omg' and while I know some of you mean 'oh my gosh' some of you don't. And, really, nobody knows which one you are saying. It could be either. Exodus 20:7 - You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. Pretty strong stuff, right? If you have used God's name in vain, it's not too late! He will forgive you, if you are truly sorry. Psalm 86:5 - (a prayer of David) You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. There are many, many, many verses in the Bible where it talks about God's forgiveness. (Did I mention that the app also has a search feature?) I also have seen people on here spell out 'cuss words', or 'taking God's name in vain'. This is serious. You may think it's not, you may not believe in God. But listen up, cause I'm not lying.
I admit, I'm not perfect, at all. I do say 'oh my gosh' sometimes, and while there are worse things I could be saying, that isn't the best, and I'm trying to stop. If you really want to stop, Continue to pray and ask God for help to stop that habit. I know, everyone around you talks like that, and it's verry verrry hard to not to. If you want prayers, just let me, Tiger, or Nail, or all three of us know. We'll be happy to help!
