Club Penguin has finally made an official announcement about Music Jam 2011!
We’ve all been waiting for the announcement, as we’d heard rumors that the Music Jam would be extended for at least a few days, due to the domain name mistake from last week, and it’s here — Music Jam 2011 has been extended for a full week! The party will go on all the way through the July 4th weekend!
Continuing their recent trend of using videos to issue news, here’s Billybob thanking all of us for being awesome and officially announcing the extra week for Music Jam!
That means that you’ll be able to hang out with all your friends in the music-themed Club Penguin, and you’ll have an extra week to find DJ Cadence, or that last member of the Penguin Band! Keep an eye on our Cadence Tracker and Penguin Band Tracker for your best chance at finding those elusive mascots on Club Penguin!
Billybob made a post on the Club Penguin community blog recently, asking all of us to vote for our favorite costume out of the 5 shown below.
He says that the two most popular costumes will be added to Club Penguin for an event in September. In the past, the September parties in Club Penguin have been the Fall Fair, but maybe this year will be different? Whatever the party is, it will have a farm theme, since these are all farm animals!

We’re not sure if this is intended or a current glitch, but non-member penguins can currently enter Casa Fiesta in Club Penguin!
During Music Jam 2010, Casa Fiesta was a member’s-only room, but for Music Jam 2011, all penguins can currently access the party room!
Check out C P Insider inside Casa Fiesta, as you can see by the playercard, this penguin is clearly not a member! If you wanna check out Casa Fiesta and aren’t a member, we suggest you do it quickly, in case it’s a glitch that Club Penguin is planning to fix!
Casa Fiesta is located in Ski Village, at the top of your screen! Enjoy!
Most Club Penguin fans are still having trouble getting the shirt booths to work and therefore can’t get the VIP backstage pass to visit Backstage, Casa Fiesta, Danceclub Rooftop and so on. If you try and access the rooms, you will get a “Loading Backstage Note” error.
There’s a simple cheat / trick that’ll help you get all the stuff right away, since the “Shirts Rock” booths won’t load on the English servers. Simply log on to a French server and you’ll be able to open up the Shirt Booth and claim your items and get backstage.
Then, you can log on to an English server and move right along to all the member rooms and get your free Green Swirly Tee and get access to the member’s only Music Jam 2011 catalog!
Thanks to Eli2tyree from our Club Peguin Forum for showing us the two new dances that you can do with the free items from the Club Penguin Music Jam.
If you wear only the new Music Jam Cap, you will do the rapper dance on the right and if you wear the hat with the green shirt, you will do the Robot!
As you may already know, the Penguin Band appears for a short performance every half hour during Music Jam 2011 in Club Penguin. (For example: 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm…)
If you’re at the Iceberg on the half-hour, the Penguin Band will slide in on an Iceberg and play a song for you with lights and video screens and then slide out when they’re done! Make sure to check out their show before the Music Jam ends.
This isn’t the same as meeting the Penguin Band and none of these members have a playercard and cannot give you the free Penguin Band Background. You’ll need to meet them when they’re on-break and scattered throughout different rooms and servers on the island. Use our Penguin Band Tracker for help!
Now, if you’ve just missed them, there’s a little cheat to see the Penguin Band — change the time on your computer! We’ve heard various reports from members that if you change the time of your computer to just before the half hour and enter the room, the performance will start!

Follow this Club Penguin Cheat to find the Music Jam Cap: Use your map to go to the Cove and click on the box of hats marked “FREE” at the top of your screen.

It’s here, Music Jam 2011 is live on Club Penguin, although there are a number of errors, especially for members trying to get backstage, with a “Loading Backstage Note” message that just spins.
While that’s disappointing, we can bring you the new background that the Penguin Band is giving out as a gift if you meet one of them in this year’s Club Penguin Music Jam.
The new background has all four of the members with their brand-new, rockin’ look! We’ll be tracking Penguin Band for the duration of the Music Jam 2011, so keep an eye on our Penguin Band Trackers very closely and you’ll be sure to meet them!
