Glitches

We’ve just discovered a new glitch in the Sled Racing game in Club Penguin! It’s a pretty fun glitch, with mixed results. We’re sure that this will be fixed shortly in an update to Club Penguin, but we thought we’d let you Insiders know so you could have a bit of fun before it gets fixed!

Basically, if you open Penguin Mail while waiting for the game, you can make the servers lose track of who is supposed to be playing the game. We’ve seen it change and duplicate characters. What seems to happen is that it selects 2 of the 4 players for the race and duplicates them, so you’ll have 4 players, but two are copied! You’ll either end up being someone else, or someone else will be racing as you!

Here’s a short Club Penguin glitch video we created demonstrating the glitch and how to activate it

The steps to activate the glitch are:

1. Open your map and go to Ski Hill
2. Go to the “Penguin Run” track
3. Click “yes” to join the race
4. Immediately click your “Penguin Mail” icon
5. Wait until you hear the racing music in the background
6. Click “Go There” on a postcard in your mail that takes you to a different room
7. Return to Ski Hill
8. Go to the “Penguin Run” track again
9. Click “yes” to join the race
10. Immediately click your “Penguin Mail” icon again
11. Wait until you hear the racing music in the background
12. Click the “x” to close your mail
13. Have fun!
